  This restaurant was complete surprise to us, cause we kissed closed door of nearby much more known restaurant. We were here on our first day in Bilbao for lunch and we were very hungry. Choice was menu for 35€ per person. All food were delicious. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone by any mean. Expected price: 4 person full menu 150-200€ with drinks.

  A hidden gem of Bilbao that, now that you know about it, you should definitely put on your list. With a daily menu, this small cosy wine bar / restaurant really offers the top of their gourmet performance. Despite individual dishes seemigly costly alone, the daily menus offer you plenty of delicious dishes for a very reasonable price. If you find yourself at this neck of the woods, drop by and try some of their amazing asparagous soup and cob file, not to mention the pear cake for a sweet finish touch!

  3.5 The steak is very good and the wine selection excellent. What let it down were the "patatas fritas" which would be better described as potato strings (matchsticks?) with no substance what so ever and the bread that wasn't asked for but was charged for.

  This was our first resturant experience in Bibao but it was the best. Great food and service with very nice house wine.
