  Excellent. Great cultural venue. Free films on some nights. A local magnet for cinema and theatre goers. Check website for details or pop in. For bigger events you will needto book tickets in advance. We got caught out and just rocked up only to find they sold out. Very comfortable seats and lots of leg room.

  Love this place! Old school and cool. Worth getting tickets (6€) online to avoid queues. Films also start bang on time with no adverts so best not to arrive late. Films in V.O. versión original.

  No plans for today? Catch an international movie in Malaga's old town. Built in 1945 and renovated in 2010, the Albéniz is Malagas's most iconic cinema and it couldn't have better neighbors! It is located in the heart of the city next to the Picasso Museum and the Roman Amphitheatre at the foot of the Alcazaba, not bad, right? It opened as a single screen and now has four screening rooms with very comfy seats and a permanent program jam-packed with international and independent films in original version with Spanish subtitles. It also hosts festivales, thematic cycles and retrospectives. Anything else? Well, the building itself is pretty impressive and it has kept the charm of a classic movie theatre so go and catch a movie while you are in the city.

  Wonderful small cinema that shows original version movies, hosting classics and modern day movies. Most screenings I have seen have not shown trailers so turn up on time!
