  Las urgencias son lo peor que he visto en mucho tiempo. Horas y horas esperando, para que, después la médica tenga las santas narices de de decirme altivamente: "A ver si lo que tienes es realmente una urgencia". Quiste infectado de más de dos centímetros de grosor, y la cita para dermatología más cercana en Abril. Me manda un antibiótico y la enfermera me echa Betadine. Ni drenaje ni nada. Cabe añadir, que el antibiótico mandado cuesta 40 euros. Ya tenga que desplazarme a otro municipio, no vuelvo a pisar ese hospital en mi vida. Tengo otras malas experiencias relacionadas con ellos, no hablo por razón de una sola vez.

  Tengan muchísimo cuidado con el Hospital Vithas Parque de San Antonio. Yo fui enviado allí por la mutua de mi centro de trabajo debido a una lesión. En el parte de la mutua se pedía que me pusieran una férula, solo eso, pero el traumatólogo de urgencia del hospital me dijo que tendrían que operarme y que pasaría la noche allí. Hasta aquí todo bien; el problema es que, mientras me preparaban para la intervención, quisieron que mi novia firmara en mi nombre un documento según el cual yo me comprometía a asumir todos los costes en caso de que la mutua no lo hiciera. Nos negamos a hacerlo hasta que no tuviéramos confirmación por parte de la mutua de que la intervención estaba cubierta, y aquí empezaron los problemas. Me sacaron medio desnudo y en silla de ruedas a la recepción; allí, de malas maneras, no quisieron mostrarme ningún documento que confirmara el visto bueno de la mutua. Lo único que me ofrecieron fue el teléfono de esta, pero fue imposible contactar con ellos. Mosqueados como estábamos, mi novia y yo nos pusimos a examinar los documentos que teníamos y en uno de ellos se afirmaba que había acudido al hospital por iniciativa propia, algo del todo falso. Finalmente nos negamos a la operación e hicieron lo que desde el principio tendrían que haber hecho, ponerme la férula. En definitiva, una atención bastante desagradable y la sensación de habernos librado por poco de un presunto caso de fraude. Tengan mucho cuidado.

  What a discrace, treatment was good but the reception staff spoke no English except for"you pay, you pay". I was sent there from a clinic in Nerja very poorly with high blood pressure. I was dropped off at the hospital reception not well and my wife in tears only to be greeted by a young lad who shoved a form under my nose and said " you pay". we fully understood we had to pay and had our insurance certificate ready, however he was not happy with that and told us we would have to pay him before we had treatment and claim back off the insurance company. I was too ill to argue and my wife was too upset so we forked out just over 1000 euros. We spent over 8 hours in treatment with no offer of even a drink of water and on leaving the same receptionist refused to call a taxi for us until we paid another 500 euros for the ambulance we arrived in. I know we were in Spain but surely due to the vast amount of British tourists who visit the country there should have been someone there who spoke at least a little English. I now think that my insurance will be invalid as we did not ring them before we got the treatment which eventually came to 2000 euros. This did not help with my condition at the time either. DONT LET OUR COUNTRY GET LIKE THIS, PAY OR YOU DIE.

  tried to make an appointment on line and just got referred back to the registration page every time. I completed it twice but was unable to get past this page. Will try the telephone
